Joined Glencore India as Manager, rose to the position of CFO in Feb 2019, & currently heading the overall as Director since Oct 2020. Over the tenure, fulfilling responsibilities to serve as the central point of contact for Head Office and Corporate functions with respect to all matters relating to the office. Further, emphasis has always been on working towards the Company’s strategy, growth & execution. Meanwhile, had reinvented the overall financial operations, processes, controls & strategy to make the operating model efficient, simple & transparent to drive top and bottom-line improvement and provided visibility & data to business partners to support decision-making. Moreover, representing the finance operations in the business strategy decision formulation & summarizes the company’s financial status in various business aspects thereby provided critical analysis and strategically insights. Further managing the reconciliation of bank statements, submission of cash forecasts to Group Treasury, and communication of instances of fraud to Group Treasury, Legal & Accounting. In addition to, supervising the reporting of adverse tax risks to Group Tax, calculation & reconciliation of direct & indirect taxes, & communication of slow/no reimbursement reconciliation of direct & indirect taxes. I am playing a pivotal role in monitoring that risk assessment is performing on all business conducted in the office to determine whether it is compliant with applicant laws as well as ensuring compliance with all local company secretarial obligations & updating director as per company and Directors approval procedure. As a Team Leader, leading a team size of 9 people capable of handling growth successfully, implementing strategies & improving operations. Meanwhile, assisted the IT to move to next level of controls, reported material incidents immediately to Group IT, ensured all employees receive regular global security training, and secured access to office building premises.
