Leading the Legal, People Experience (PX), risk, safety and security, internal audit and facilities teams at Papa Johns.

Served as Papa Johns global corporate affairs leader and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO. Responsible for team member and franchisee communications; corporate reputation; brand public relations; corporate events; ESG strategy; philanthropy and stakeholder management. Drove the reputational turnaround of the brand, which included a transformation of Papa Johns culture; increased community investments; and awareness of new business strategy and leadership team. Created and led the company’s corporate foundation, The Papa Johns Foundation, including establishing its mission, vision, focus areas; governance structure; and grant-making strategy. Developed and led the corporate responsibility strategy. Built the communications and corporate affairs function, set the strategy, and led messaging and storytelling across the organization. This included recruiting and hiring an entirely new team, establishing multi-stakeholder comms strategy, developing communications routines, launching new channels, modernizing storytelling and content, upskilling team on Gen A.I. Transitioned three CEOs during my tenure. Led award-winning brand work around innovative products and brand moments that reinforced Papa John’s focus on menu innovation and cultural relevance. Made the brand visible with a new generation of customers through PR-led activations.
