With over 30 years in the financial services industry, I’ve had the privilege of leading both entrepreneurial ventures and transformative growth journeys—always focused on building high-impact businesses and delivering innovative solutions. My entrepreneurial journey began with the launch of mutualfundsindia.com in 1999 – India’s first mutual fund portal, which got recognized by Forbes as one of the world’s top 150 websites. We pioneered tools like MFI Explorer, which helped shape mutual fund research and portfolio tracking in India. After scaling the venture and successfully exiting through a strategic sale, I joined Morningstar in 2008 to establish its India operations from the ground up. What began as a one-person setup has grown into Morningstar’s largest global office, with over 4,500 team members. As country manager, I lead strategy, innovation, and operational excellence, ensuring we stay aligned with our mission of empowering investor success. I am honored to be recognized among India’s 30 Most Trusted Leaders (2023) and to contribute to the industry through my role on SEBI’s Mutual Fund Advisory Committee. Beyond finance, I’m passionate about wildlife and nature conservation, and serve on the Advisory Board of Sanctuary Nature Foundation, a leading voice for environmental protection in India.
