Adrienne Costanzo

I serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Stores Officer at Target, where I lead more than 350,000 team members and oversee the operations of more than 2,000 stores. I started my Target career in 2004 as an Executive Team Lead overseeing Softlines in Evansville, Indiana. As a fashion design student, I had imagined a very different career path, but Target’s iconic style and design drew me in, and the apparel & accessories department was a natural place to start. What has kept me here for more than two decades is the culture and the team.  That first role gave me an early connection to the merchandising and presentation side of our business -- which I still love. It was also the beginning of a career that allowed me to serve in leadership roles across our Stores organization, including time in human resources and operations, building both deep store expertise and broad enterprise perspective. That journey has shaped a belief I carry with me every day: stores are where Target’s strategy comes to life and where our brand becomes real for guests. Today, I’m focused on strengthening store operations through investing in our leaders and helping our teams deliver an easy, inspiring, and friendly experience for every guest. I believe stores are the heart of Target, and the people in our stores are what make this brand feel unmistakably Target every day. ❤️🎯
