HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum has been at the forefront of Dubai’s remarkable economic story for more than 30 years. He holds several government positions where he plays a key role in shaping economic, investment, and fiscal policies and strategies in support of Dubai’s vision. He is also the driving force behind Dubai’s successful aviation sector and other strategic industries. Sheikh Ahmed is Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Fiscal Committee, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council for Energy, and Board Member of the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD). Under his leadership, Dubai’s aviation sector has become a global force, significantly contributing to Dubai’s GDP. Sheikh Ahmed is Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, Chairman of flydubai, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. Beyond aviation, Sheikh Ahmed is Chairman of Dubai World, holds key leadership roles strategic entities including: Dubai Holding, Emirates NBD, Freezones Council of Dubai, Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, Expo City Dubai Authority; and oversees Dubai’s economic development as Commissioner General in the Dubai Council.
