I lead the ~$15B market cap Cement business within the Adani Group that comprises Ambuja Cement, ACC Ltd, Penna Cements, Orient cements and Sanghi Industries. I am also a member of the Adani Group apex committee. I've been closely associated with the Ambuja story helping scale it into the ~100MT Cement major it is today. Over the past few years we have: - Created a blueprint to become the lowest cost cement producer in India - Increased capacity by 70%+ through inorganic (Penna, Sanghi, Orient - ongoing) and organic expansion with a roadmap to 140 MT by FY28 - Restructured and integrated the organisation across ACC and Ambuja I have ~15 years of C-suite experience leading multi-billion dollar, publicly listed companies and have served on the boards of several companies - Ambuja Cement Ltd, ACC Ltd., Sanghi Industries, Vedanta Aluminium, DIRK India, CMPL, OneIndia BSC, Holcim Services South Asia, Ambuja Cement Foundation, Talwandi Sabo Power Limited, and Creative Plastics. Between 2019-2022, I led the ~$5B revenue Aluminium and Power business at Vedanta Resources to turnaround the business and achieve profitability. I also led Vedanta's Group Commercial and Marketing function as Managing Director - Commercial overseeing annual purchasing and sales of ~$10B+. I have experience across: - P&L ownership - Growth and tunaround strategy - M&A and integrations - Consumer and commercial excellence - Sustainability strategy - Digital transformation - Stakeholder management I have been active in industry forums including CII, FICCI and ASSOCHAM.
