Ajay Bahl

Ajay is the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) for Global Energy and Manufacturing at HCLTech, leading transformation efforts for Fortune 500 and Global 2000 clients across Europe and North America. He oversees initiatives in AI, Data, Digital Platforms, Robotics and Engineering to supercharge innovation and operational excellence. As CGO, Ajay collaborates with clients to unlock new growth levers, architect future-ready business models and drive enterprise-wide transformation aligned with shifting market dynamics. He also serves on HCLTech’s Customer Advisory Board, working closely with C-suite leaders to shape industry strategies and drive innovation. With over 25 years at HCLTech, Ajay has built and scaled strategic businesses for major global enterprises. Early in his tenure, he played a key role in establishing HCLTech’s North America infrastructure practice—an initiative that helped position the company as a global leader in technology services and transformation. A career HCLTechie and alumnus of the HCLTech Senior Management Trainee program, Ajay has held key leadership roles in M&A, Product Acquisition and Management and the CEO’s Strategic Leadership Team. He is recognized for his relationship-driven leadership style, which focuses on building trust-based partnerships that yield measurable business outcomes. Ajay is based in Dallas at HCLTech’s Digital Lab and Operations Center.
