Alessandro Melzi d'Eril

Alessandro Melzi d'Eril has been Chief Executive Officer of Mediobanca since October 2025. Throughout his career, he has held several positions of primary importance at Anima Holding. He served as Chief Executive Officer from 2020 to 2025, a period during which he established a clear strategic direction focused on the quality of the offering, operational strength, and sustainable business growth. Previously, starting in 2011, he served for six years as Chief Financial Officer, helping to strengthen the Group’s financial and capital foundations and to support a path of efficiency and transparency; from 2017 to 2020, he was General Manager. In parallel, at ANIMA SGR he served as Deputy General Manager from 2017 to 2020 and subsequently as Chief Executive Officer from 2020 to 2025. Before his professional experience at ANIMA, he was Investment Director at Clessidra (2004–2011) and was part of the Corporate Finance, M&A, and ECM teams at UniCredit Banca Mobiliare (2002–2004) and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (2000–2002).
