Alok Bajpai

Alok's rich and diverse career in various leadership roles globally has been dotted with many successful and key milestones. He has been the Country Head for the Nigerian operations of a Belgian seafood processing and export organization. He then played a similar role with a seafood company in the West Coast of Canada for a little over four years. In both these assignments, the companies that he led, achieved a multiple fold growth in their production capacity and in revenue. Once back in India in 2004, he led the global accounts team for Infosys for few years. He was then handpicked from there by a PE firm to join as a Global CFO for a Nasdaq listed IT services company. He was one of the key players in its impressive turnaround story that saw a negative EBITDA company transform to industry- par margins. After one small tuck-in acquisition that he made, and after running many investor campaigns, he led the company's sale to a Japanese conglomerate at a handsome 5x valuation. He did few more similar CFO assignments with finance, business strategy and M&A being his core focus. After 7 years with NTT data centers in India as its CFO he took over the Managing Director role for India to turbo charge its sales and business growth in the region. He has enjoyed the learnings from his international exposure in diverse industries, varied cultures, and from the challenges that he successfully converted into opportunities. This, he believes, has been the driving force in making him a well rounded professional with a perspective and acumen to appreciate and solve problems more holistically. Alok is a Chartered Accountant from India, a CPA from the US and a management graduate from UK. He is a four time winner of CFO100 Roll of Honor from the CFO Institute and once recognised as the Most Influential CFO by CiMA. He is a regular invitee as a speaker and panelist to various CxO conferences and management institutes.
