Amit Chadha

Amit Chadha is the CEO and Managing Director at L&T Technology Services (LTTS). He leads India’s largest digital engineering and R&D services company, driving its roadmap for business and technology leadership, market direction, and strategic vision. As CEO, Amit has grown LTTS into a billion dollar digital engineering and technology organization, with demonstrated leadership in emerging technologies, while accelerating the culture of innovation, with patent filings becoming 4X under his leadership. Since joining LTTS in 2009, Amit has held multiple senior leadership roles, progressively expanding and reinforcing the company’s global footprint. He played an instrumental role in the public listing of LTTS on the NSE and the BSE in a stellar IPO during 2016. Amit is an elected member from the ER&D fraternity in the prestigious NASSCOM Executive Council (IT/ITeS), guiding NASSCOM’s industry charter, helping foster out-of-the-box innovation, and promoting Intellectual Property creation in India’s tech industry. Over the years, he has continued to enable global customers create business value worth billions of dollars by helping them embed and roll-out cutting edge technologies in their offerings. Amit regularly provides strategic guidance and counsel to the world’s top ER&D customers and Fortune 500 companies, helping them leverage digital engineering for their new product development and launches. Amit is an electrical & electronics engineer and has been honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award for Leadership in Corporate World, Industry, Academia and Research Institutions by his alma mater, BIT Mesra in 2022. He was recognized by the Indo American Chamber of Commerce as the Corporate Leader of the Year, 2023. Amit also holds an Advanced Management Certification in Business Leadership from INSEAD, France, and has completed a Global Business Leadership Executive Program with the Harvard Business School Publishing. As an influential leader in the engineering services industry for over 25 years, and one of the early proponents of engineering and information technology outsourcing services from India, Amit writes on Technology, Leadership, and Sustainable Development.
