I’m a curious, inclusive leader, motivated by creating and delivering strategies that improve people’s lives. My background in analysis and data help me quickly hone in on what moves can make the most difference to the business and to customer outcomes, and I take pride in delivering those things to grow and evolve the businesses I've led. My current focus is on powering all Capital One's strategies by building a world class data ecosystem. Capital One runs on data, so my team's work to make data easy to use and govern has massive impact on the company. Ultimately, we are powering Capital One’s mission to change banking for good. In my roles as a senior executive general manager and developer of upcoming leadership talent, I've had the opportunity to bring together the best of what I've learned solving problems throughout my career in various disciplines — analysis, risk, marketing, product development, tech, operations and talent management. I believe in the power of building collaborative, inclusive teams of people who achieve meaningful results while having fun in the process. From platform development to people leadership, I am passionate about finding solutions that empower others. Inspired by Capital One’s mission, my teams have launched programs that help people succeed with credit, like digital nudges toward better financial habits and credit cards for people trying to safely rebuild their credit. Working with my team of product managers, engineers and designers, we've made car buying better by reimagining the process using Capital One Auto Navigator. Now my team is building platforms, products and processes to enable data users across the company -- which at Capital One is just about everyone from software engineers to business analysts. Learning and helping others develop inspire me — and have been areas of focus throughout my career. In “side jobs” to my core business leadership roles I've developed and run several programs at Capital One that accelerate the development of our highest potential and / or underrepresented talent. In order to help our next generation of credit leaders, I designed and taught credit decision-making classes internally. As one of the first and only women to reach a number of milestones at my company, it's important to me to ensure that similar journeys are easier for others. Accordingly, I’ve made significant progress building a stronger culture of development and inclusion in parts of my company where this can make the biggest impact.
