With a bold mission to reduce 500 megatons of CO₂e by 2030, the company is becoming a force multiplier in the global climate transition. Anand’s entrepreneurial journey is marked by bold bets on technology’s potential to create human and planetary value. Before launching Expect AI, he was the Founder and CEO of Brilliant Basics, a globally acclaimed product design and innovation studio. Under his leadership, the company grew into a global operation with studios worldwide, culminating in a successful acquisition by Infosys, one of the world’s leading technology companies. He led Infosys Digital business unit with evenue exceeding £500 million. He also co-founded Mesmerise, an AI-powered spatial computing company focused on enterprise immersive technology, which was later acquired. A recognised thought leader with over 27 years of experience across management consulting, digital transformation, and venture building, Anand blends deep expertise with an instinct for what’s next. He previously served as one of the youngest Presidents and CEOs at Interpublic Group (IPG), where he led Mediabrands Ventures, overseeing digital innovation and M&A initiatives. Prior to that, he held senior executive roles at Publicis Sapient leading Financial Services, Media and Healthcare businesses. Today, actively advises young entrepreneurs at the nexus of impact, design, and frontier technology. In recognition of his contributions to design and technology, Anand was awarded an honorary doctorate in Computer Science by his alma mater. He also holds a certification in Corporate Strategy and M&A from INSEAD. More than a serial entrepreneur, Anand is a systems thinker who believes in humanising technology—bridging the needs of people, planet. and progress. He lives in London with his beautiful wife and two wonderful children, grounding his global ambitions in family and purpose. He is a member of YPO - Young President's Organisation. He also sits on the advisory board of AFS Youth Assembly and Regenerative Alliance.
