With over 30 years of experience in financial services, I am a seasoned professional leading Compliance Function after a decade of heading internal audit and assurance function for Kotak Mahindra Bank, one of the largest private sector banks in India. My mission is to ensure the highest standards of governance, compliance, and risk management across the diverse and complex portfolio of banking and financial services businesses that the group operates. Before joining INTERNAL AUDIT of (ING VYSYA BANK) Kotak Mahindra Bank in 2014, I held various leadership roles in retail banking, spanning across assets and liabilities, network management, product development, digital and alternate channels, operational excellence and customer experience. I have a proven track record of driving growth, profitability, innovation, and customer satisfaction in the highly competitive, dynamic retail banking sector. I have also successfully launched and managed new products and services, ventured into new markets such as car loans, gold loans and financial inclusion initiatives, to cater to the diverse and evolving needs of the retail customer base.
