The work I do every day as the President of Lilly Neuroscience is more than a job – it’s personal. Over 15 years ago, I held the hand of my mother who passed away from Alzheimer’s disease. Today, I am committed to creating better realities in neuroscience and in life, by bringing solutions to patients living with Alzheimer’s disease and other serious conditions in neuroscience. With over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I have served in roles in oncology, neuroscience, and infectious disease, leading Lilly Oncology, driving Lilly’s transformative efforts on speed, and heading teams that delivered multiple new medicines for people around the world. My experience also includes small-company pharma, founding and leading an oncology startup company. I serve as the executive sponsor for Lilly’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group and am on the national board for Lambda Legal, an organization that fights for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community and those living with HIV. I have been fortunate to be recognized as a Woman of Influence in Indiana and also Women’s Inc.’s Most Influential Women Executives in America.
