Leveraging my broad academic and industrial international experience, I love to bring Innovation and Impact through science and technology, from lab to plant and market. I partner with business leaders to foster an innovation open to the outside (customers, suppliers, start-ups, academia ..) where customer obsession and strategic partnerships are key pillars. I stimulate the worldwide R&D organization with a strong emphasis on collaboration, openness, diversity, and talent development to deliver a sustained performance. I am a strong believer that the environmental situation that we collectively face results in both fantastic challenges and exciting opportunities for R&D, requiring us to foster and combine the energies from all worlds (academia, start-ups and SMEs, large corporations, investors, governments) across traditional value chains and market silos. My personal experience convinced me that partnerships are a key vector to Transform and Innovate at the proper pace. On a personal side I am energized by great science, business strategy, working in multicultural and international environments, building value partnerships by proper consideration of each parties interest, teamworking with bright people, and coaching people in their own work and development.
