Executive Overview

A highly collaborative IT leader with over 20 years of experience and a very broad technology background spanning cloud and managed services, software development, IT integration, IT Strategy, and IT operations support. Having started out my career in software engineering and taking on progressively more challenging roles including software developer, team leader, architect, development manager, director of engineering & architecture I see and analyze business opportunities through the eyes of an engineer. At my core though, I’m a change agent, leading efforts that leverage industry standards and divergent thinking to achieve practical results for the business quickly. As organizations are having to transform to thrive, I develop teams around DevOps principles, agile methodologies and technology stacks that are enablers for transformation. What I have found is that changing the processes and technology is only part of the equation. Changing thinking in IT and the business along with changing autonomous team structures are equally important ingredients to the transformation. My Leadership style has evolved to be rooted in servant leadership. As a servant leader, building high-performance teams starts with getting the right people on the bus and then providing a culture of trust where people are completely bought into doing worthwhile work. I thrive at providing the strategy and coaching to help develop individuals and helps the business be successful. CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: • Open source & commercial vendor stacks (i.e. Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, Docker OpenShift, Jenkins) leveraging test automation and fully automated CI/CD pipelines • Cloud and Data Center Infrastructure, (AWS, Azure, Google & VMware) developing and supporting hybrid & cloud-native solutions that are compliant, secure and highly scalable, and resilient • Leading globally distributed cross-functional teams •Process Improvement •ITSM &ITIL • IT Strategy & Vision • Identifying and developing IT talent
