It's happening now, and the institutions that treat it as a business opportunity — not just an infrastructure problem — will define the next era of global finance. As a C-suite executive leading Global Payments & Liquidity Management at a top-four U.S. bank, I run a multi-billion-dollar business spanning transaction banking, digital assets, embedded finance, and payments modernization. I've scaled global platforms, built high-performing commercial organizations, and driven growth in some of the most regulated and competitive markets in the world.What I've learned is that the most consequential problems in financial services sit at the collision point of technical complexity, regulatory constraint, and commercial pressure simultaneously — and that's exactly where I operate. These aren't problems with elegant solutions. They require holding complexity without simplifying it prematurely, and driving conviction across organizations that are structurally resistant to change.My focus is where institutional rigor meets emerging technology, where regulatory complexity becomes competitive advantage, and where AI and distributed ledger translate into real commercial outcomes for clients.Beyond the day-to-day, I serve on the Board of Directors of Blue Shield of California, chairing the Finance & Investment Committee.
