Directly reporting to the Group CEO. Steering and controlling the overall risk profile of the Group, providing comprehensive information and advising the Management Body. Coordination of the local Risk Officers, responsible for the local risk management activities. Main responsibilities: - Developing and implementing the risk management framework (risk appetite, risk limits, risk reporting) - Governing and controlling the various risk types (credit, market, financial, non-financial) as well as any other Pillar II risks - Monitoring and Reporting on the bank's risk profile, including early warnings, and regular independent reporting to Senior Management and Board of Directors - Coordinating the ICAAP and ILAAP processes - Ensuring proper asset quality through the coordination of credit operations (underwriting, monitoring, etc.) - Coordinating the Internal Validation activities Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bank Austria (Chairman of the Audit Committee; Vice Chairman of the Remuneration Committee; member of the Risk Committee). Member of of the BoD of FITD (the Italian deposit insurance scheme). Former member of the Supervisory Board of Zagrebačka Banka, Croatia. Senior banker with an in-depth knowledge of risk management and banking regulation and a solid experience as non-Executive Director in banks’ boards and committees.
