William “Bill” Brown is Chairman and CEO of 3M, a $25 billion materials science and manufacturing company that innovates and delivers solutions in automotive and industrial technologies, electronics, personal safety and consumer products.He is the former Chair and CEO of L3Harris Technologies, a global innovator in aerospace and defense technology solutions. Brown previously served as Chair and CEO of Harris Corporation prior to its merger with L3 Technologies in 2019. He joined Harris in November 2011 as President and CEO. Prior to Harris Corporation, Brown spent 14 years at United Technologies, serving in a variety of leadership roles, and 7 years at McKinsey & Co.Brown holds bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from Villanova University, as well as an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Vice Chair of the US-China Business Council, serves on the board of Becton, Dickinson and Company, and is a member of the Business Roundtable and the Business Council.
