As Chief Commercial Officer of Rio Tinto, I lead our global Commercial team, which includes sales & marketing, procurement, marine, and logistics. I’m also responsible for business development for the Group, and for key external partnerships, including our joint venture relationships in the Simandou iron ore project in Guinea. Since joining Rio Tinto in 2013, I’ve held a range of executive leadership roles across the Copper, Energy & Minerals, and Iron Ore product groups. I joined the Executive Committee in 2016 and have worked across multiple markets and geographies, from operational leadership to commercial strategy and partnerships. My experience spans portfolio transformation, market development, and growth in both established and emerging regions. I'm passionate about growth in all its forms: commercial, cultural, and organisational so I believe in bringing together diverse capabilities and perspectives to unlock long-term value and navigate complexity at scale. I thrive on fostering collaboration, building deeper relationships with our partners, and delivering innovative solutions for a low-carbon future. Prior to joining Rio Tinto, I spent over a decade in investment banking with JPMorgan in New York and London, followed by several leadership roles in the private sector in Mongolia.
