Executive Overview
My source of purpose and meaning in my professional career has been at Olam. I joined the company at a time when it was small and privately held and along the way helped to make it a powerhouse of talent in the global food and commodity industry. My personal journey has been remarkable as we have been able to drive our talent strategy in a way that while we achieved our ambitious growth plans we simultaneously built on our core spirit of Entrepreneurship, Ownership, Stretch and Ambition. Key elements of our Founders Mindset that we did not compromise to build scale. I have always focussed on drawing a close link between talent strategies and business outcomes. Operating in more than 60 countries and with diverse teams I believe a culture that embeds inclusion and diversity will be that key factor in the success of future organizations. I’m also deeply passionate about developing leaders through coaching, and that passion led me to serve as a Board Member with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Global Board for Coaching in Organizations. It’s a role that allows me to contribute to advancing coaching as a force for leadership effectiveness and organizational transformation worldwide. As I look ahead, my focus remains on governance, leadership succession, and culture transformation — helping organizations stay human as they grow, and future-ready as they lead.
