Brent Lambert

I am a seasoned board member, business executive, and trusted advisor with nearly 30 years of leadership across legal, governance, and enterprise risk domains. I leverage this experience serving mission-driven companies as a board member and strategic advisor, helping them scale and grow through innovation, disciplined governance, and long-term value creation. Among my board roles, I serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors for morriganAI, a next-generation AI company pioneering advanced cyber defense and AI ethics. I previously served for eight years as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Lexmark International, a $2B global imaging and IoT technology company, where I was a member of the executive leadership team, a key advisor to the CEO and board of directors, and also served as interim Co-CEO. Lexmark was recently acquired by Xerox in a landmark transaction. Over the course of my career, I have led global functions including legal, corporate strategy, government affairs, intellectual property, data privacy, compliance, internal audit, and IT security. I've provided executive leadership through both public and private ownership, led transformational M&A transactions, reshaped corporate strategy, developed a substantial global IP portfolio, managed complex litigation, and overseen sensitive regulatory and national security matters. Earlier in my career, I practiced at Moore & Van Allen PLLC, an Am Law 200 firm, where I represented Fortune 500 clients on a wide variety of matters.
