After my training, I took the opportunity to join Citibank as it sought to introduce leading edge market risk methodologies – a move that further ignited my growing interest in banking and risk management. From there I moved to Intesabci Bank as Head of Risk Management for their asset management arm. In early 2005, I joined Deutsche Bank Italy as Head of Compliance where I led many managerial and technological reforms and expanded my remit into Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Poland. By 2013, I was headhunted by UniCredit as Co-Head of Global Compliance and promoted to Chief Compliance Officer within 1 year. Over 7 successful years I resolved a number of Unicredit issues, introduced AI tools and led culture change initiatives. In 2021, I joined Boston Consulting Group in an advisory capacity and expand on my independent directorships. In 2024 I have been Chief Transformation Officer at CCB. In addition to my professional achievements, I have been the author / co-author of and contributor to books, papers, and courses on compliance and related topics. I am a course leader for the Italian Banking Association, lecturer on risk management and compliance. I am a member of Italian Association of Non-Executive Directors and Board Academy / Post-Degree Master on Board Directorships held by Assogestioni – LUISS Business School.
