I am a veteran with innovative and consistent leadership in information security, intelligence, and information technology (IT). You’ll see from my profile that I have a unique blend of experience in the military (US Navy), government (US Department of State), start-up (iSIGHT Partners), and Fortune 50 (Chevron). I have expertise in building mature cybersecurity intelligence and operations centers, leading digital transformations, overseeing IT operations, and a real passion for people development while leading global teams. The value that I bring is my ability to bring business context to cybersecurity programs and partnering to build a risk-based approach in protecting information assets. Throughout my career, I have developed and maintained strong relationships with industry counterparts, government and law enforcement agencies, and technology partners. Another area I bring value is in leading digital transformation efforts for large organizations and building strong relationships between the business and information technology. I’ve enjoyed helping large organizations priortize and execute their digital tranformation initiatives which are strongly linked to business strategy and improving overall business performance. The focus has been not just doing digtial for the purpose of modernizing but doing so that it’s tied to improving the customer experience and overall bottom line. My peers and my teams know me for excelling in leading strategy development, operational guidance, and alignment that has included briefing the Board of Directors, senior exectuives, and government officials on the initiatives to improve performance goals which increase organizational effectiveness.
