Patricia Cobian

Patricia has deep expertise in the TMT space with 15+ years track record in leading teams and driving strategy and business development at the intersection of evolving customer trends,market structure and technology. Now the Chief Financial Officer at Telefonica UK Patricia also sits on the Telefonica Deutschland AG Supervisory Board and she is a Director of Telefonica Europe Ltd. Before taking on her current role in the UK business, Patricia was Director for Business Development in Telefonica Europe, where she led strategy, marketing innovation and played a key role in a number of partnerships, spectrum auctions, infrastructure sharing deals and key acquisitions and divestitures in the region - from strategic rationale through to integration planning. She was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2014 and she was appointed Strategic Adviser to Lumia Capital, an expansion-stage VC in January 2016. Before joining Telefonica, Patricia was a consultant with the TMT and Corporate Finance practices of McKinsey & Company, working with clients in Europe, LatAm and the US. Patricia started her career in Hewlett-Packard and holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICAI (Madrid) Outside work, Patricia is a strong supporter of the Red Cross, with whom she collaborates. Patricia is married and mother to three young children
