Coley O'Brien

I have served as Wendy’s Chief People Officer since March 2018, providing focused leadership of our company culture, talent development, and diversity and inclusion efforts. Since joining the brand in 2007, I have held several roles supporting Wendy’s people including Vice President of Human Resources and Field Capability and Vice President of Training. My first memory of Wendy’s is from childhood, when my family would celebrate a special event by driving an hour to the closest Wendy’s restaurant from our small town in Western Nebraska. This experience helped sparked my passion for making Wendy’s a great place to start, build and spend a career. At Wendy's, I'm proud to serve as the executive sponsor of WeBERG, the Company’s employee network focused on elevating cultural awareness, inclusion, and growth amongst Black employees and allies. I also serve as a trustee of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and as a board member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum. I'm certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and an active member of the HR Policy Association.
