Worked in the mining industry since 1984, starting in gold and basemetal exploration in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and New Zealand before getting involved with near-mine exploration and project development/evaluation at Peak Gold Mines, Cobar New South Wales and then Northparkes Mines. I am currently managing Northparkes mining operations in central New South Wales, Australia, focussing on establishing a resilient business that will survive the current downturn and be positioned to grow on the upturn. I am particularly interested in developing the people in our business and establishing growth options for the business.
