As chief scientific and product officer at Lilly, I have the privilege of leading teams that turn bold scientific ideas into real-world medicines. I also serve as president of Lilly Research Laboratories and oversee our global business development efforts — bringing together science, strategy, and collaboration to shape what’s next in medicine. My journey at Lilly began in 2010 when the company acquired Avid Radiopharmaceuticals, a company I founded to develop imaging tools for Alzheimer’s disease. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work across discovery, development, and clinical research, all with one goal in mind: delivering breakthrough medicines to patients faster. Today, I’m still driven by that same curiosity.
