Since joining Bechtel as a graduate, I’ve seen first-hand how infrastructure changes people’s lives for the better. Our projects – rail, road, aviation, digital, power generation, urban development, civil infrastructure – not only respond to the needs of modern societies, but they also make a profound impact on livelihoods, through jobs, training, and opportunities brought about by improved transport networks, digital connectivity, and access to sustainable sources of energy. At Bechtel we have the opportunity to make a positive impact on a mega scale, and that’s what excites and inspires me about the work we do. I’m personally happiest when engaging with colleagues on our projects. I’m consistently in awe of their expertise, diligence, and passion for the work we deliver. Our people look out for each other, our customers, and the communities we serve, including through stewardship activities to support those communities and the next generation of engineering and construction talent. After 20+ years working globally alongside the best in the business, it’s an honour to lead Bechtel’s global infrastructure team. I’ll be using this platform to share some of the amazing work our teams do, day in, day out! #WeAreBechtel #ToTheExtraordinary
