A technologist, life long learner, change catalyst and currently CEO/President of BGSW - Bosch Global Software & Technology, a 35,000 associate strong company with global footprint. BGSW is a 100% subsidiary, largest technology and engineering center of Robert Bosch GmbH, a German global conglomerate of over 90 Billion Euro turnover. My three decade career in technology has taken me multiple geographies across Europe, America and Asia, enabling me embrace cultural diversities and business dynamics. I had the opportunity to work with some of the sharpest minds of the industry in shaping new ideas and impacting lives positively through technology. I have been fortunate to be part of many disruptive and transformative journeys of business building and driving the change. I am proud to be leading Bosch Global software technology - a 100% subsidiary of Bosch GmbH, a company that has more than 140 years of heritage with strong commitment to social cause and an apt vision statement "Invented for Life". As a leader, I am driven by the fundamental purpose of contributing to a better world with social and intellectual equity - sustainable future for generations to come. The act of harnessing best minds, agnostic of cultures, needs a higher order purpose and I believe this is possible by fostering a culture of respect, curiosity and collaboration. I personally drove a culture of "happiness" as a fitness/wellbeing parameter in the company to unlock fearless, authentic and empathetic workplace attitude. I had the privilege of leading "new bets" corporate venture program at Bosch. The fund had the purpose of investing in domains or technologies of the future. Experimenting at the edge in domains of healthcare, energy, agriculture, sustainability, manufacturing was most fascinating experience. Building sustainable business from an idea in a rather complex corporate set up, gives the real high and I was fortunate to be at the centre of it ! People often tell me that I carry a telescope and a binocular in my pocket - to gaze far into the horizon envisioning future scenarios and zoom into details to craft actions to fruition. My best use of this came in when I led the strategy function for Bosch in India. I crafted and executed a growth, innovation and organisational transformation strategy for the region. My way of zoning out is through sports, traveling, reading, social cause - A cricketer by heart, now enjoy badminton and cycling. I have established a family trust "Moodana Foundation" to support needy. Family, friends and lots of sunshine - that's me !
