Debashish Roy is a growth driven transformation leader with nearly two decades of experience helping organisations turn disruption into growth. As Chief Digital Transformation Officer at CEAT Ltd., he is driving the company’s next chapter, embedding AI, data, and automation at the heart of its strategy to deliver faster, smarter, and sustainable business transformation. Debashish envisions CEAT’s evolution from a traditional manufacturer into a tech-driven, customer-obsessed leader in sustainable mobility. His mission is to make AI a boardroom agenda—integrating Digital, Data, and AI under one charter directly linked to business growth, risk, and profitability. His transformation blueprint includes a Unified Data Layer, AI-driven KPI Twins for real-time decisioning, and a human-in-the-loop agentic fabric that ensures governance and scalability. With global experience across North America, Europe, and Asia, Debashish has led large-scale transformation programs for Fortune 500 organisations, building cultures of innovation and agility. Before joining CEAT, he was Director- Digital Transformation & Customer Experience at Pfizer Ltd., where he accelerated digital adoption and built strong data and IT foundations. He has also held leadership roles at Abbott Healthcare, PwC US Advisory, and Cognizant Business Consulting. An engineer by training and an IIM Mumbai alumnus, Debashish combines expertise across digital strategy, analytics, new business models, and customer experience. He champions a culture of “develop before you tell”—rapid PoCs to prove value, then scale. His current focus areas include federated AI agents, sustainability telemetry for board reporting, and AI-driven upskilling to future-proof CEAT’s workforce.
