Executive Overview

I started my career in waitressing, after failing out of college my first year. After a lot of physical work, long hours and working holidays and evenings while others were having fun, I decided to go back to school. I worked full time while taking classes at Cornell, eventually graduating with a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations. My first position at Ingersoll Rand in a rotational HR program was in Labor Relations with an office right in the middle of their manufacturing floor. I worked in various positions and locations, but always in heavy manufacturing environments. Today I still own and carry my own safety shoes to our facilities. That affinity for manufacturing continues at Clarios, where our batteries power one in three cars in the world, and where we are actively preparing for the future generation of EVs. After several years in diversified industrials including oil and gas, metals, and aerospace, it’s really exciting to work in the automotive industry. It’s also a great topic at home with my husband who is “a car guy”. I work with a talented team of HR professionals, who are always contributing a new idea, challenging a thought or designing a new process to support our business. As the carve-out, independent company from the former Johnson Controls Power Solutions division, we have tremendous opportunity to design our own future. Our joke is that we are a hundred-year-old startup. And it’s so much fun – really! At Clarios, I support all employees globally, particularly the frontline – the production, maintenance and supervisors who make us successful. It’s the best part of my job. As a member of the executive team, I’m an active participant in the leadership and strategic direction of the company, supporting new challenges and creating opportunities for our workforce. If you are a high-energy, dedicated, smart and results-oriented professional, come join us at Clarios. You will love it here!
