Eric Diebold, Ph.D.

I am a life sciences executive and former technology entrepreneur, experienced in building and driving high-performing organizations to deliver business results through agile product development and relentless commercialization of innovation - all within a regulated industry. I believe leadership stems from the ability to effectively communicate a vision for success, and is demonstrated by inspiring and driving teams to achievements that exceed the expectations of any individual member. I have a technical background in the physical sciences, and a demonstrated record of commercializing innovation in the life sciences. I have a particular passion for identifying, investing in, and developing ideas, products, and people that will transform science, businesses, and human health. I currently serve as the General Manager of BD Biosciences’ Instrumentation and Software businesses, which operate across both the research and clinical flow cytometry markets.
