Executive Overview
I proudly lead AGCO, the world’s largest pure-play farm equipment manufacturer. As Chairman, President and CEO, I merge a lifelong love of farming with a passion for innovation and digital transformation. We deliver Farmer-First solutions that solve real farmer challenges through a portfolio of iconic machine and technology brands, including Fendt, Massey Ferguson, PTx and Valtra. AGCO Strategic Transformation & Growth During my tenure, AGCO has undergone a fundamental transformation. We are strategically positioned to be the Investment of Choice for shareholders, Partner of Choice for farmers and Employer of Choice for our teams. This transformation is a direct result of executing our Farmer-First strategy and realizing our vision of being a trusted partner for industry-leading, smart farming solutions. Central to this transformation was the execution of a $2.3 billion precision agriculture joint venture with Trimble— the largest agtech deal in history. This landmark move created PTx and positions AGCO to offer superior mixed-fleet retrofit and factory-fit precision ag solutions. Additionally, FarmerCore is a transformative global initiative that revolutionizes the dealer experience by using mobile and digital assets to bring the entire business, from sales to service, directly to the farm. Driving the Farmer-First Strategy Our Farmer-First strategy places farmers’ success at the center of everything we do. This focus drives our Purpose: Farmer-focused solutions to sustainably feed our world. Our strength comes from one extraordinary AGCO team and our global network of expert dealers and distributors. Deep Roots in Agriculture Growing up in Wisconsin, I worked on a dairy farm and participated in the Future Farmers of America (FFA), 4-H and the Wisconsin Junior Dairymen’s Association. These experiences gave me a profound respect for the people who work hard to feed the world and fuel my dedication to AGCO's growth. Industry Engagement Globally I remain engaged with industry leaders, serving on the board of directors for AGCO Finance and The Toro Company, and as a member of The Business Council, and the North American Agriculture Advisory Board (Rabobank). Farmers are full of passion and grit. To serve them, our approach is clear: listen closely to the challenges they face and respond with solutions – be it autonomy, more fuel-efficient machines or AI-powered tools – that improve productivity, profitability and sustainability. In the end, I’m still the same kid who wanted to help the farmer next door, just on a global scale.
