I’m convinced that technology and innovation are fundamental pillars of progress in the energy sector, especially in the way we apply them, driving the creation of disruptive solutions that allow us to be at the forefront in the adoption of more sustainable and environmentally friendly energy models. From my position as CTO Technology and Corporate Venturing, I´m committed to all technological solutions that will enable us to accelerate the energy transition and achieve net zero emissions by 2050. I’ve been working at Repsol since 1989. The first few years I worked as a process engineer in the more technical areas of Refining and Engineering, and later in the Corporate and Exploration and Production areas. My last position before the current one was Sustainability Director from 2017 until September 2022. PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Complutense University of Madrid and MBA from IESE.
