I am a seasoned finance executive with deep expertise in financial due diligence, M&A assessments, and strategic decision-making. As the CFO of Macquarie Technology Group, I oversee the Finance, Legal, and People and Culture functions, playing a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and investor relations of a diversified, ASX-listed company with four business units: Macquarie Cloud Services, Macquarie Data Centres, Macquarie Government and Macquarie Telecom. My approach is hands-on and analytical, driven by a strong ability to understand different industries quickly and make informed “buy or don’t buy” decisions. My career took a defining turn during my time with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) when I was appointed CFO for CBA’s digital banking venture in South Africa. This experience gave me an in-depth understanding of what it means to lead at the CFO level—balancing strategic finance, operational leadership, as well as regulatory, and investor engagement. At Macquarie Technology Group, I am deeply involved at the board level, bringing a comprehensive view of the business to stakeholders and ensuring clear communication through data-driven reporting. I thrive on solving complex problems, working closely with people, and creating order out of chaos in dynamic environments.
