I joined Sandoz as a junior, temporary counsel in 1998. Along the way I've developed expertise across many different areas of the pharmaceutical industry, including business development and licensing, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust and competition law, litigation, arbitration, compliance, investigations, and much more. Today, as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, I am proud to lead an outstanding, highly skilled, and business-oriented Legal and Compliance team spread around the globe, all working towards one common goal: pioneering access for patients. My team and I work hand-in-hand with every function at Sandoz to enable the development and delivery of generic and biosimilar medicines where they are needed most. We are profoundly committed to doing what is right, by equipping our associates to act with integrity and accountability, and by using our legal expertise and our strong voice to help shape the policies and frameworks that govern our industry, to the benefit of patients.
