As the CTO and SVP of Advanced Vision Technology at Cognex Corporation, I have over 10 years of experience in leading the development and innovation of our core machine vision software and deep learning algorithms that power all of our vision and ID systems. I am passionate about creating cutting-edge solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in the field of industrial automation and inspection. In addition to overseeing the vision and deep learning software, I also manage the advanced technology R&D group that works on our next generation systems and new ideas for adjacent markets. I collaborate with our business units, customers, and partners to identify and address the emerging needs and challenges of our industry.
