Joana De Castro

I am proud to be part of Johnson & Johnson, leading our Innovative Medicine business in Australia and New Zealand along with colleagues who strive day to day to continue innovating with purpose and leading where medicine is going. I am a driven, people-focused senior leader with a growth mindset and successful track record of delivering business results and developing talent. I have served in multiple roles in the healthcare sector, both regional and local, with cross-country experiences. I have also represented the pharma industry more broadly serving on a number of industry boards and firmly believe that we as an industry, are stronger together. During my career, I have been privileged to work with, and continue to work with, incredible leaders who have shaped me as a leader. Further to this and I am driven by a strong desire to pay it forward – supporting others to also develop and grow. I am proud to be part of a company and a team that seeks to improve patients' lives daily through novel therapies and contribute to healthier societies. I’m passionate about inclusive leadership, putting patients first, developing people and championing health equity.
