MECHANICAL ENGINEERING Projects/ MAINTENANCE PROFESSIONAL IN OIL REFINERY Since joining Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) in Feb 1992, I have worked in two refineries, carrying out different functions and serving in various capacities and have am currently in my third refinery (and petrochemicals complex) assignment. I have experience in both mechanical maintenance as well as mechanical design & engineering functions. I am responsible for leading the refinery’s Maintenance function. I am in charge of the Asset management & RCM Strategies and have served as the main Resources and Planning Manager of numerous Refinery Turnarounds. I am fully conversant with the maintenance and materials modules of SAP. I also possess hands-on knowledge of condition-based maintenance practices and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, including machine signature analysis. I have experience of mechanical design of stationary process equipment such as heat exchangers and pressure vessels (working knowledge of PV-Elite & TEAMS software). I have a very good exposure to strategic management roles which cover Project Management and Maintenance Maintenance functions. I have a consistent track record of making a significant difference in all the roles I have performed.
