Joining KASIKORNBANK in 1987, I started my career as a manager at the Manufacturing and Agriculture Lending Department. While working here, I got a scholarship from KBank to study at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation in 1990, I have gone through a variety of departments and functions, for instance, Investment Banking, Marketing and Credit Management, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Secretariat, Retail Business as well as Finance and Control. I was appointed as an Executive Vice President cum Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2010, mainly supervising financial health of KBank as a whole. I have become the first female President at KBank since 2016, looking after back office functions, especially financial management, human resources, customer services, regulatory compliance and audit, and more importantly, the maneuver of changes towards digitalization, which is seen as both challenge and threat facing today’s banking industry around the globe. In this pivotal role, I supervise KBank strategies in transformation into the digital era, aiming to blend the digital and conventional services seamlessly to achieve the highest customer satisfaction and a solid future landscape for KBank. One of the primary targets is to promote KBank’s image as a Bank for everyone, every day and in every way, everywhere, which is a must for survival of a banking industry in the boundary-free digital world. The entire workforce should move forward together, aligning themselves with the new strategies, think out of the box and innovate the new ways to serve customers.
