I’ve always wanted a career where I could set myself goals and then strive for them. That desire to challenge myself is how I ended up in working in #IT and why I've had the privilege of leading very large teams, worked globally and focused on driving value. However, the impact of what we’re doing goes beyond technology. The teams I now lead as the Chief Digital and IT Officer at #LyondellBasell are delivering solutions that are transforming the Chemicals industry and helping change the world. My role within this encompasses global project delivery across a range of disciplines, from #SoftwareEngineering, design, and #analytics, to enterprise resource planning, platforms and transformational change. This calls on all the experience I’ve built in IT strategy development to drive #DigitalTransformation, particularly in relation to data, analytics platforms, market standards and business/IT upskilling. Now, with more than 25 years in the IT industry, I bring my combined business management and #TechnologyLeadership experience to develop both the people and the technologies of the future.
