I build the brand events that turn complex technology into experiences people remember. For more than two decades I've led global event programs at category-defining tech companies — Cisco, Splunk, and Box — building functions from the ground up, scaling them through hyper-growth and IPO, and producing the tentpole moments that come to define a brand in market. BoxWorks from 300 to 5,000+ attendees. Splunk's .conf reimagined as a brand and pipeline platform. Cisco Live's regional flagships in Amsterdam and Melbourne, anchored to the company's AI reinvention. What I love is the translation — taking a company's values, technical narrative, and product strategy and turning them into something three-dimensional that lands with developers, executives, and customers in the same room. Tentpole conferences. Intimate executive forums. Sponsorship activations like Splunk's partnership with McLaren F1. Industry presence at the moments that matter. I care equally about the creative ambition and the operational rigor it takes to actually pull it off.I lead globally distributed teams and large vendor and agency networks, manage budgets in the tens of millions, and have built the playbooks, briefs, and measurement frameworks that let event programs grow without losing their voice. I've taken portfolios fully virtual and brought them back hybrid. I've moved tentpoles into new venues to save seven figures while elevating the experience. I've stood up brand presence in EMEA, APJC, and the US.These days I'm most interested in companies building the next era of meaningful technology — AI especially — and in the challenge of making that work feel as accessible and human as the products themselves should be.San Francisco-based and open to global travel.
