As a C-Level, Global Human Resources Executive, I bring cross-industry experience from start-ups to multi-national and publicly traded businesses. I leverage functional expertise with a deep understanding of the unique operational and financial challenges of technology and SaaS companies. I’m a trusted HR Business Partner to the executive team with a success record in leading businesses through successful IPO and hyper-growth phase, including ESPP development, executive compensation and succession planning. Expertise in leading global teams and keenly adept at driving change management across diverse regions. I work extensively with the board Compensation and Nomination & Governance Committees, helping create scale and growth strategies, execute M&As, with keen eye on human capital. ► Executive Leadership: I lead as Chief People Officer for Okta, Inc., a leading $13B+ provider of identity for the enterprise, leading a team of ~325 People & Places team members, serving 6,000+ employees globally. ► M&A: I bring deep understanding of the entire M&A lifecycle, having led 10+ M&A and integrations at Okta (Nasdaq: OKTA) – including 6 full scale HR integration acquisitions, including due diligence of all benefit packages, culture integration, physical location, and change management and three major international M&A integrations (India and Brazil) for EnerNOC in 12 months. ► Scale Leader: I scaled HR capabilities as Okta grew from ~500 to 6,000+ employees in seven years, while strategically modifying compensation structure to ensure right ROI as growth rate remains 30% YoY. ► Led IPO: I led the global HR function through a successful IPO process for Okta – identifying critical roles/talent, developing compensation strategy for retaining top talent while developing career growth opportunities for remaining employees, leading to zero attrition after lockup period. ► Succession Planning: Lead executive succession planning and provide thought leadership to the Nominating and Governance Committee.
