How could someone who started his career as a software engineer end up leading supply chain and procurement for a multi-category tobacco company? It’s because some of the most sophisticated technologies and processes are being created by this company, aligned with strong partnerships and a sharp focus on developing innovations with ecosystems for the future. Today, as PMI’s Chief Operations Services Officer, I am focused on helping the operations organization prepare for a future of continued success—by evolving how we work across procurement, supply chain, and electronics operations. My team aims at shaping the next decade of PMI’s operating model by focusing on agility, efficiency, and technology (AI) driven process optimization, while fostering a culture of open innovations and partnerships across PMI and beyond. I am excited to take on this new responsibility in PMI, a company with strong roots and experience in operations. Before joining PMI as Chief Product Officer in 2019, I spent more than three decades working in consumer product innovation and development, including leading product development and operations for Harman International’s consumer audio business.
