• Been with the Kotak Mahindra Group for over 25 years, during which time I have worked in and played a leading role in setting-up / managing & growing the bank’s franchise in essentially all customer segments of corporate banking – right from Conglomerates, Large Corporates, Mid Corporates, MNCs, SMEs, E-Commerce/Start-ups, Credit Light Corporates and Supply Chain of Corporates • Part of Kotak Leadership Team (KLT) for the last 10+ years • Currently head a 500+ strong team across 30 locations, covering three business segments – Large Corporates, Mid Corporates, MNC, SME & New Age Companies. • Successfully managed the integration of ING Vysya’s corporate banking (large & mid corporates) business with the Corporate Bank in Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. • Have been instrumental in setting up, building and managing the entire BIU, Monitoring & Marketing piece for the Wholesale Bank along with running the Corporate Bank • Over the years, I have been responsible for new customer acquisitions, for growing of BS while maintaining high quality of portfolio (including recoveries), for building a robust P&L with good cross-sell and for delivering risk-adjusted return on capital • And, dealing with corporates across almost every segment and through multiple economic cycles has given me a deep understanding and experience of the business models of companies across various sectors and across geographies in India
