Mark Czaja is the Chief Technology Officer and Corporate Vice President of Technology and Innovation for Parker Hannifin effective January 2021. Prior to this role, Mark was the Vice President of Technology and Innovation for the Parker Motion Systems Group, the world leader in providing Motion and Control components and systems to both Mobile and Industrial Markets. Prior to this role, Mark was the Vice President of Technology and Innovation for the Parker Aerospace Group for over a decade, leading the engineering function within the group spanning R&D, Product Development, Systems Engineering, and Product Support. Mark joined Parker in 1985 and brings more than 25 years of experience to this position. In 2000, he was named Engineering Director at Parker’s Control Systems Division. In this role, Mark was responsible for forming a technology and engineering center, consolidating the engineering resources of three Parker divisions. In 2003, his role was expanded to lead the strategic initiative team in charge of Parker’s standardized design and development project. Mark has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State Long Beach, and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He has completed a certificate program on Innovation Management at California Institute of Technology, and is also a registered Professional Engineer.
