Mark Ellis

I bring over two decades of experience in technology leadership to my role as Chief Technology Officer at Experian Health. My background spans software development, IT strategy, and cloud transformation. I’m passionate about building strong teams that drive innovation, simplify complexity, and deliver measurable impact for clients. Since joining Experian in 2007, first with Experian Automotive and later as CTO, I’ve had the opportunity to lead technology strategy across multiple business lines and work with some of the most respected names in data and analytics, including ACNielsen, Information Resources, and Reuters. I’ve spent much of my career focused on modernizing platforms, migrating systems to AWS, and aligning technology with business outcomes. I’ve also served as interim CTO for Experian Health on two separate occasions, which gave me a deep understanding of our team dynamics, technical landscape, and client priorities. Now, in a permanent role, I’m focused on driving progress that’s meaningful for our clients, our teams, and the future of healthcare technology. Outside of work, I’m a professional keyboardist and regularly perform in the Greater Chicago area. Music keeps me grounded, collaborative, and always learning.
