I Joined as CEO for Aditya Birla Health Insurance - joint venture (JV) between Aditya Birla Group and MMI Holdings of South Africa in August 2015 and in short span of time transformed the company into one of the recognized Insurance company in India. Spearheaded a very well diversified strategy of entering the Indian health insurance market with a differentiated business model, developed an efficient multi-channel distribution system by leveraging the increasing digital opportunity. Successfully executed various roles cutting across Retail, MSME, SME, Mid Corporate & finance solution verticals within Aditya Birla group since 1994 when I joined the group as a management trainee. I am passionate about helping every Indian having easy access to health insurance via customised solutions such as health insurance, family and individual protection plans and more. In recent times, a significant area of my work has been expanding the distribution channel of health insurance beyond physical mediums to digital platform. With my previous experience as founding team member and Deputy CEO of Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance. Holding a number of roles, including CFO of Sun Life’s Insurance Business in Indonesia, Head - Institutional Sales of Insurance Business globally. Looking back a journey to cherish with the Group supporting me since 1994. Actively involved with a number of industry forums including CII, Assocham and FICCI. I lend my expertise as a member of CII Sub-Committee on Accessibility Health Insurance, FICCI Committee on Health Insurance and IAMAI HealthTech Committee.
