Matthew Maloney

I am a Partner at McKinsey & Company, based in the New York office. I am a leader in McKinsey's Private Capital practice, working closely with investment firms and their operating partners to identify and assess investment opportunities and improve portfolio company performance. In addition, I co-lead the global CFO service line in the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice. Prior to McKinsey, I spent fifteen plus years delivering shareholder value within private equity, consumer goods, and retail in domestic and international markets. Industry experience working in finance at one of the largest consumer good portfolio companies in the world working with CFO driving organic business and integrating new acquisitions. Delivered $1+ billion of incremental cash flow each year, optimized strategic capital expenditures ($2-3 billion/year budget) to support business growth while delivering a minimum of two year payback on each project, and delivered $250 million of incremental cash (an increase of 160%) by identifying under-utilized fixed assets which were sold by the operating units after leading a global asset review.
